New Series: Life with 4G

C.S.Lewis wrote:

"The moment you wake up each morning, all your wishes and hopes for the day rush at you like wild animals. And the first job of each morning consists in shoving them all back; in listening to that other voice, taking that other point of view, letting that other, larger, stronger quieter life come flowing in." 

We all know what that is like. Sometimes it is not just our hopes, dreams, and desires but also our fears and the anxiety that comes with them that assail us. Each of these demands a response from us. Will we trust God and live our life in that trust, or will we take matters into our own hands, striving, fighting and struggling to manipulate and control our environment. 

Do we trust Him for our well-being? Do we believe that He gives life that truly satisfies? Do we believe that His approval and love is truly what really matters?

Last week we started a new series titled "Life with 4G."  

During these next weeks we will look at the truth about God we must turn to and how it will affect our lives:

1. God is great - so we do not have to be in control
2. God is glorious - so we do not have to fear others
3. God is good - so we do not have to look elsewhere
4. God is gracious - so we do not have to prove ourselves
